Releasing My Custom Tool: "WiLAN Manager"

Hi, I'm mr.Bones.

When it comes to connecting your PC to the internet, toggling Wi-Fi on or off is relatively easy. But for wired LAN (Ethernet), it's surprisingly inconvenient to disable or re-enable it via software.

As a slightly paranoid person, I sometimes worry about things like, “What if my home PC is compromised with a backdoor and someone does something malicious while I’m away?” So when I'm away for long periods, I usually unplug the Ethernet cable from the hub to physically disconnect the connection. But honestly, that’s tedious—and it puts wear and tear on the hardware.

That’s why I decided to make a tool that allows me to disable or enable network connections in software with just a click.

【WiLAN Manager】

This is a free tool I developed.

[How to Use]
1.Launch WiLAN_Manager.exe

2.From the list of network adapters, select the one you want to manage.

3.Click either the "Enable" or "Disable" button to connect or disconnect the adapter.

If you’d like to try it out, feel free to grab it from the download link I’ll post shortly.
Questions or feedback are always welcome. Stay secure and connected (or disconnected!)
