How to Use
1. Window Selection
When launched, a list of windows will appear. Select the Go software where you want to add annotations.
If streaming, capture GLAT using broadcasting software such as OBS.
If you want to make the background transparent using chroma key, you can change the background color by pressing the button on the right.
Since it supports Spout, if you use Spout in the broadcasting software, the transparency will apply automatically.
2. Grid Adjustment and Setup
After selecting the window and pressing ✖, a grid will appear. Adjust the red points, and press the setup button.
If you want to match a real Go board, check the "Physics Goban" option.
Since real Go boards are slightly taller, the setup will be adjusted accordingly.
3. Operation Screen
1, 2, and 3 allow you to draw black with the left mouse button and white with the right mouse button.
For all tools, the middle button acts as an eraser (from version 1.1.0 onwards).
- Area Drawing Tool - Draws territory.
- Arrow Tool - Draws arrows. Adjust by dragging and release to confirm.
- Circle Tool - Draws circles. Adjust by dragging and release to confirm.
- Focus Ring Tool - Displays a rotating ring at the point you want to emphasize. The operation is the same as the Circle Tool.
- Emotion Tool - Select an emoji from the list and click on the board to display the emotion.
- Effect Tool - Displays various effects. Some effects produce sound, so please be aware.
- Mouse Trail Toggle - Toggles the mouse trail on or off. If you use Spout capture, the mouse cursor won't be captured, so use this when you want to annotate with the mouse.
Known Issues
- Yugen no Ma has outdated software specifications, making it technically difficult to capture directly. You will need to use another capture tool and import it into GLAT.
- When capturing GLAT video using Spout, the Arrow Tool may slightly overlay the board. Please be aware of this.
